Tax Planning

Tax planning is an important part of the tax preparation process. We can use our knowledge and access to new developments in tax law to minimize both your current and future tax liabilities and help you plan for what matters to you. There’s not much you can do after the year is over and we’re preparing the return. Tax planning is an area where you can be proactive and make decisions to change your tax outcome.

Tax Preparation

We provide our clients with a tax advisor throughout the year. We prepare tax returns for various types of entities including individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, and not-for-profit organizations. We understand your unique situation and are available to you when you need advice any time throughout the year.

IRS Representation

Getting a notice from the IRS or Franchise Tax Board can be stressful. We can be your partners in those stressful and uncertain situations. Many times clients feel helpless and confused with what a notice or audit means. Through experience dealing with many taxing authorities, we can help properly represent you before the various federal and state tax agencies, make the process go smoothly, and make sure you feel comfortable and understand your situation.

Special Projects

You may have a feeling that something is going wrong with your business, but you’re not sure what. You may just want to get a second opinion on something. We’ve worked on a range of projects from tracing how much a trustee embezzled from a trust to sorting out the mess left from a partner that just decided to stop paying taxes without letting anyone know. It’s important to get to the bottom of things, and we enjoy putting the pieces together and solving the puzzle.

About Me

I love the complexity of taxes and working with clients. I have over 10 years of experience in tax and accounting. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in bioengineering and later earned my International MBA from the University of Hawaii. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University. I enjoy helping clients understand their unique situation and empowering them to make informed decisions. Everyone has a different story, and I like learning what each person’s story is. I would like to work with you as a trusted advisor, one that you can rely on to get the details, but also one you like to chat with too.

I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in bioengineering and later earned my International MBA from the University of Hawaii. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University. I worked for several startup companies handling regulatory affairs. After obtaining my MBA, I transitioned to tax and worked at the largest local CPA firm in Hawaii. In 2013 I returned to the Bay Area and worked at mid-sized and small firms obtaining a breadth and depth of knowledge in tax and client needs. Besides the experience I gained from working with a wide range of clients, it gave me the dream to run my own firm. I feel very lucky that as of 2017 I began doing just that!

I grew up in the Bay Area and recently moved to Roseville with my family. We are very excited to settle down in the Sacramento area and take advantage of everything the region has to offer.
